Coleslaw recipe ideal for candida patients

Here is a coleslaw salad, suitable for those suffering a yeast infection. The yogurt replacing the traditional mayonnaise makes this salad tasty and ideal for candida suffers as it helps replace the good bacteria in the digestive system that will help control a candida out break.

Quantity
Serves 4 as side salad

Preparation time
10 min

Ingredients
2 cups cabbage
1 medium grated carrot
½ chopped green pepper
½ stick celery
5 tablespoons yogurt, low fat
1 teaspoon lemon juice
¼ teaspoon dill weed

Preparation Process
Wash the cabbage and chop finely
Peel and grate the carrots
Cut green pepper into small pieces
Chop celery into small pieces
Place all ingredients into a mixing bowl and stir together

Dressing
Place Yogurt, lemon juice and dill weed in a small bowl and stir together.
Pour the dressing over the salad, toss and add salt and pepper to taste
